Tanya Enterprises
Extruded Teflon Wires

When a wire needs to survive high heat, shrug off chemicals, and keep working year after year, extruded Teflon wires are made for that job. At Tanya Enterprises, we manufacture these wires using a precision extrusion process that lays down a smooth, even Teflon coating directly over the conductor, leaving no weak points and no gaps anywhere along the length.
The word "extruded" is what sets these wires apart. Unlike wound or taped insulation, an extruded Teflon layer bonds tightly to the conductor, giving better protection against heat, moisture, vibration and chemical exposure. That's why industries that can't risk a wire failure, such as aerospace, industrial heating, lab instruments and chemical processing, choose extruded Teflon wires over standard alternatives. For applications that also demand extra mechanical toughness and lighter weight, our ETFE insulated wires are worth comparing too.
At our Meerut facility, we use high-grade raw Teflon and strict process controls to make every batch, and each one is tested before it ships out. That means you get a wire that performs exactly as ordered, every time. If you have specific needs around conductor size, insulation thickness or wire length, our technical team is ready to build a custom solution with you.

Extruded Teflon wires from Tanya Enterprises are a strong fit whenever a standard wire won't hold up to the job. Whether it's a high-temperature industrial oven, a chemical processing unit, a precision lab instrument, or a motor winding, these wires keep performing steadily without breaking down over time. The smooth extruded surface also makes routing through tight conduits easier, and since Teflon is naturally non-stick, pulling wires through panels and cable trays is quicker and cleaner than with rubber or PVC insulated options. For projects that need a lighter, more flex-resistant wire, our ETFE insulated wires page is worth a look as well.

Why use Extruded Teflon Wires:

  • Handles ongoing high heat without softening, cracking, or losing its insulating quality
  • Resists oils, acids, solvents and most industrial chemicals, staying intact even under long exposure
  • Smooth extruded finish gives even, consistent insulation across the full wire length, with no thin spots
  • Strong dielectric properties for safe, dependable performance in high-voltage wiring jobs
  • Stays flexible even in heat, so it can bend through tight spaces and sharp turns without cracking
  • Long service life, as Teflon doesn't age, harden or wear down under normal industrial use

Where Extruded Teflon Wires are used:

  • High-temperature heating equipment — industrial ovens, furnaces, kilns and heating elements facing constant heat
  • Motors and transformers — where the wire must handle continuous internal heat during operation
  • Laboratory and testing instruments — where steady, low-noise signal transmission matters for accurate readings
  • Aerospace and defence wiring — where weight, heat tolerance and reliability all need to work together
  • Chemical processing plants — where wires regularly touch aggressive solvents, acids and corrosive substances
  • Electronics and control panels — where compact, reliable wiring in tight, high-density spaces is needed every day

Frequently Asked Questions

What are extruded Teflon wires?
Extruded Teflon wires are wires where the PTFE (Teflon) insulation is applied over the conductor by a precision extrusion process. This gives a smooth, even coating with steady thickness along the whole wire, making it far more dependable than wound or taped Teflon alternatives in tough environments.

What temperature can extruded Teflon wires handle?
Our extruded Teflon wires are built to run continuously from -60°C to +200°C, and can take up to 200°C in short-circuit conditions. That covers industrial heating equipment, motor windings, furnaces and other high-heat setups where standard wires would wear out quickly.

What does "extruded" mean in the context of Teflon wires?
Extrusion is a process where Teflon material is pushed through a die and applied directly over the conductor as one continuous layer. This differs from taping or wrapping. The extruded coating bonds more tightly, has no overlapping seams, and keeps insulation thickness even, giving better electrical performance and a longer working life.

Are extruded Teflon wires the same as PTFE wires?
Yes, Teflon is simply the brand name for PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), a fluoropolymer originally developed by DuPont. So extruded Teflon wires and extruded PTFE wires are the same thing, sharing the same heat resistance, chemical stability and strong electrical insulation.

Can I order extruded Teflon wires in custom lengths and specifications?
Yes. Tanya Enterprises can customise conductor gauge, insulation wall thickness, wire length, colour coding and packaging type. Share your requirement and our team will suggest the right product along with a competitive quote.

Do your extruded Teflon wires come with certifications?
Yes. Our extruded Teflon wires are certified under RoHS, REACH, HAR, CE, AD8 and Halogen-Free standards, confirming they meet Indian and international safety, quality and environmental compliance requirements.
